Randhir was shell shocked to see the polices inspector there... He wanted to argue but no way he could...
"Isi ne kiya hoga sahab.. Meine Dekha.. Is ghar ke owner ne jaate waqt keys isko hi diya tha... Isne hi kiya Hoga yeh kand..!" Randhir's neighbor was testifying against him..
"Aapko Kuch kehna hai Mr. Randhir?" Inspector queried!
Randhir put his head down.. He wasn't a professional thief after all.. He did it all for his love.. His conscience didn't let him lie.. He quietly followed the inspector.. He was taken to the police station.. After all the formalities he was sent to the lockup... All this while, he never uttered a word.. Now he was feeling much better.. Inspector asked him if he would like to call someone but he denied... Randhir did not want to pull her into this case.. "No way I am going to involve her in it.. Whatever it is, let me handle it!" He decided.. Word was sent to the house owners about the theft and Randhir's arrest.. They were already on the way.. Randhir spent all night, awake, in a corner of the room.. He had his mobile phone with him, Parth was continuously calling him but he was in no mood to attend..
Next morning, House owner Rahul arrived... The moment Randhir heard his voice, he peeped out to see him.. "I shouldn't have done this!" He felt guilty.. Rahul met the inspector who was trying to explain him everything... Inspector summoned Randhir.. Constable unlocked the cell, and brought him out.. All the while, he had his head down..
"This is the guy we are suspecting.. In fact, you had given him the keys as well.. Your neighbor was pretty sure he must have done it.. For now, we have just arrested him.. Since we did not know the estimation of the money and jewels that are missing, we haven't filed an FIR till now...! So Mr. Rahul, can you tell us how much worth stuff is missing? Based on that, I ll file a complaint...!" Inspector prepared to file a FIR..
Randhir wanted to tell Mr. Rahul that he had taken(stolen) only money worth 5 lacs and that he would return it somehow... Whatever happens, I am going to tell him he decided.. The Moment Randhir opened his mouth to confess... "Nai inspector.. Ghar me toh Kuch b nai tha! I never left any money in the locker not even jewels, mere sab Kuch toh bank locker me hai.. I think there is a misunderstanding... Mr. Randhir is a gentleman.. Aap bekar me unhe pareshan kar rahe hai...! Please unhe chod dijiye...!" Rahul spoke up..
Randhir and inspector himself couldn't believe what he was saying.. "Mr Rahul yeh aap kya keh rahe hai? Randhir ne khud...! Matlab confess nai kiya par unhone chup raha iska matlab there is something more to it.. Even ur neighbor said so.. Are u sure Ki ghar me Kuch b nai tha?!..."
Rahul: Inspector woh mera ghar hai aap mere baat manenge ya mere padosan Ki? Please leave Randhir alone.. He is innocent.. Rahi baat uska jisne mere ghar me gusa usko pakadne ko koshish kijiye aap..!"
With this, inspector had nothing more to say.. Randhir was set out free.. He was totally confused as to what had just happened with him.. Later, he found out that the money in the locker was all black, had Rahul admitted to theft, he would've been in bigger trouble and that's why he chose to keep mum...!
Randhir thanked God for helping him out in such a crucial situation.. Days passed, his love for her kept increasing.. He could see her health improving.. Doctor Aadi was taking good care of her.. Things were quite well.. She was discharged from the hospital... Randhir was experiencing the love of his life... She gave him all the happiness in the world... One day, all of a sudden, out of nowhere he got that message, from her, that changed his world completely and shattered him into pieces...
"Randhir... I am sorry... But I don't think we are made for each other.. You aren't the one I deserve.. You and I can never be happy together.. There is no future between us.. It's good to bid good bye rather than killing our relationship by dragging it further.. I love you n ll always will.. Take care.. Good bye!"
Randhir felt she was playing a prank on him.. He rushed to her apartment... Just to find a board hanging there.. "TO LET..!"
"She has vacated the house!!! Whyyyyy!! Kyun kiya aisa tumne...!" Randhir fell on his knees screaming....
