Always Be Mine - Part 45

Part 45:

"Miss Agarwal! Will u mind seeing the board for a change or u prefer to look outside? If u want, you can get out in order to get a better view!" Prof. Vardhan screamed..

Sanyukta rose from her chair, she was frightened as if she was about to be eaten up by a tiger.. She managed to face Prof. Vardhan but still couldn't control her eyes from looking outside.. Prof. Vardhan knew something was wrong, he judged it by her worried looks.. If Sanyukta was worried, it had to be either for Randhir or by Randhir, but it was always Randhir without doubt.. His eyes fell on Randhir's chair which was empty...

"Sor... Sorry sir!" She managed to speak up..

"Where is Mr. Randhir Singh Shekawat? Doesn't he know that he has a damn class to attend!" He patted her table in anger, which frightened her more..

"Sir Randhir isn't picking our calls.. He was here for PKC sirs class.. I guess he is in some kind of a trouble.. Should I go and check?" Sanyukta wondered from where she had gathered so much courage to say those words to Prof. Vardhan..

"Interesting very interesting!! So he only wanted to attend Mr. PKC's class.. Hmmm.. If u wanna go and check then don't u dare enter my class ever.. U got it?" He shouted..

That's it, that angry voice made Sanyukta shred off all the courage she had gathered.. No one can argue with Vardhan sir and win it so easily.. She reluctantly sat down on her chair., Vardhan corrected his specs that had almost fallen upto his nose, gave one last look at Randhir's chair and proceeded to the board..

All Sanyukta could do, was to wait.. "It's okay Randhir even if you get scolded by Vardhan sir it's perfectly fine with me.. Please come back.. I wanna see you right now.." She closed her eyes and prayed hard.. She was constantly looking at her watch every now and then.. It seemed to be the longest lecture she had ever heard.. For the first time ever, she wasn't listening to whatever Vardhan sir was saying.. Her hands kept trying his number.. She could hear the voice of the automated girl again.. "THE PERSON YOU ARE TRYING TO REACH IS OUT OF COVERAGE AREA"

Finally, Vardhan sir said, "Okay guys I hope you people understood the topic I taught you today.. Any questions? Else we can regroup tomorrow?"

"Sir no questions.. I understood everything.. We ll regroup tomorrow.." Sanyukta said in a hurry and ran out of the class in a flash.. Her legs weren't in her control anymore.. She looked for him everywhere, Canteen, library, his hostel room, basketball court.. She searched for him in every nook and corner possible.. Randhir wasn't there... Sanyukta sat on the bench, she was about to cry and that's when she heard Jiggy's voice..

"Sanyukta kya hua? Tum Aise kyun Chali aayi class se? Sab thik hai na?" Jiggy and Kaustuki were concerned..

"Jiggy thank god Tum aa Gaye.. Please woh app Ab b hai na tumhare paas.. Please jaldi trace Karo Randhir ke number ko and pata lagao woh kaha hai.." Sanyukta almost forgot to breathe..

"Okay Tum ruko.. Mein abhi try Karta Hun.." Jiggy opened the application and keyed in Randhir's number, and hit Trace.. It answered "Phone is down!"

"Arey Sanyukta yeh Randhir bhai ka phone off hai.. Yeh app sirf switched on mobiles ko track kar sakta hai.. I am really sorry.. Waise woh bache Thodi na hai.. Yahi Kahi hogay, aa jayega.. Tum chinta mat Karo.." They left the place

Sanyukta felt as if her world was about to stop.. What Jiggy said was right, Randhir is matured enough to handle himself par only she knew "woh mature kam aur Pagal zyada hai"
Pata nai kaha Hoga Randhir.. She felt like crying.. But then, she knew rone se Kuch nai Hoga... I ll have to find Randhir.. She had left one place, waha b check kar leti hun.. Sanyukta rushed to the mechanical lab.

On the way, she kept enquiring everyone passed by.. All answered in unison "No we haven't seen Randhir since morning." It was empty, there was no trace of Randhir there as well.. Sanyukta couldn't hold back her tears anymore, she dialed his number for one final time... The moment she heard the automated tone, she threw her phone away.. It crashed on the wall and fell on the floor.. She fell down on her knees and started weeping "Kahan ho Randhir.. Kahannnnnn??? Kyun itna Dard de rahe ho Mujhe..! Agar Mujhse koi galti hui ho toh please Maaf kar dena! Agar saza hi deni hai toh Kuch aur de dena!! I hate this punishment.. It's killing me Randhir.. I want you now, right now, right infront of my eyes..!" She placed her hands on her face and started to cry.. "Randhir pleaseeee!!"

Just then, she felt a hand on her shoulder.. She immediately recognized it.. How many times has she felt that hand on her!!! It wasn't hard to recognize, wasn't hard at all.. Sanyukta got up in a flash, when she turned, it was Randhir standing tall.. Too much of emotions were killing Sanyukta.. She first touched him all over, made sure he was indeed fine.. Went back a bit, stared him with those fiery eyes and gave him a tight slap on his face.. She continued to hit him on his chest.. It was as if all her feeling were pouring out.. She had no one to share her pain with.. Hence, she chose to share it with the one who was responsible for it..   Those tense moments, were the most hated moments in her life.. She hated Randhir for making her go through that.. Randhir did not stop her, rather he provoked her to hit him more... Sanyukta was crying while doing so, Randhir, instead of stopping her, he wiped away her tears that were rolling down her cheeks.. Sanyukta lost herself in his love, and hugged him tight.. Randhir hugged her back.. No words were exchanged.. They were feeling each oh her from within.. He patted her back slowly in order to make her feel better.. He knew very well what she was expecting..

"I ll never leave you alone Sanyukta! Never, trust me!" He promised.. A lone year escaped from his eyes.. He was hiding something in his hand, he carefully put in inside his pocket without her knowledge.. Randhir tightened his grip.. Sanyukta felt safe in his arms..
